ART CLASSES
I have taught art privately for over 30 years. Doing this has given me a great deal of joy and satisfaction.
Knowing that I have helped many people to express themselves artistically and creatively has been extremely rewarding.
I currently run 7 art classes per week, with approximately 8-10 pupils per class. All mediums are taught in the classes in conjunction with individual choices for subject matter. Each class has a duration of 2 hours and the current cost per class is £12, paid after each attendance.
Although pupils are expected to provide their own materials, some materials and reference books, photos, etc are always available.
Times for the classes are - Tuesday 7-9pm, Wednesday 10-12am and 12.30-2.30pm. Thursday 10-12am and 1.30-3.30pm. Friday 10-12am and 1.30-3.30pm. All of these classes are held at Winthorpe village hall, Winthorpe near Newark. I also hold workshops and demonstrations on a variety of subjects and in a medium of their choice for other local art groups when requested.

FRAMING
I have done framing most of my adult life. Initially this was done to make frames for my own work for display in exhibitions etc. Some time ago this developed into a small business run in conjunction with my other work commitments. I now currently carry out framing work for many of my students and other private clients.
My framing workshop is now housed in a converted stable, in the grounds of my house in Collingham. I currently have access to a large and comprehensive range of mouldings and mount boards.Â
Apart from framing artwork, prints and photos, I am also prepared to frame a range of personal items from medals to football shirts - and more.Â
Along side this I also offer a comprehensive restoration and regilding service.
Currently my rate is £35 per hour plus materials with a minimum charge of £15 on any work undertaken.
